Send It Sunday Year End Bash: MX Race Day

Last gate drop of 2026. New Hartford Racing in Shell Rock, Iowa closes its season with the Send It Sunday Year End Bash race day on Sunday, October 11, 2026. Rider sign-up opens at 6:30 AM (or Saturday 2 to 4 PM), practice is at 9 and racing starts at 10. Entry is $40 for big-bike classes (125, 250 and Open A/B/C, 25+, 30+, 40+, Masters, 14 to 24 B/C and Women), $35 for minis (Mini E-Bike, 51cc, 65cc, 85cc, Girls, Supermini and Schoolboy), $20 for the beginner classes and free for the Warrior class for military and first responders, with the A classes paying money. Pre-register on Trackside and give an email at sign-up for a $15 Rocky Mountain race gas credit; with a $15 Sunday gate or $20 for the weekend for ages 5 and up, kids 4 and under free. AMA membership is required ($49 adult, $35 youth, $30 one day) with chest and back protection for every rider, and AMA age minimums apply: 9 and up for 85cc, 14 and up for 201 to 250cc, 16 and up for 251cc and over. Bikes only. Minors need an annual release on file with the AMA or both parents in attendance. No pit riding of any kind (no pit bikes, golf carts, UTVs or scooters), and the woods are closed this weekend because the trails are too wet to ride safely. Free primitive camping Friday and Saturday night; gates open Friday 3 to 8 PM for campers. Saturday brings MX practice 9 to 3 at $30 per class, Stacyc races at 3 and family activities in the evening.
