Junior Showdown Triple Crown Vol. 2

Two days, three motos, one youth title. The Junior Showdown Triple Crown Vol. 2, presented with Flatland Concrete, runs Saturday and Sunday, January 2 and 3, 2027 at MX at the DeX inside the Dakota Events CompleX in Huron, South Dakota. Motos 1 and 2 run Saturday and the championship rounds run Sunday, with cumulative scoring across the three motos, unique awards and extra production for the next generation of Midwest talent. Last season the Showdown paid double series points and added Micro-E and Mid-E electric classes for the 3 to 6 year olds, and when a class draws more than 15 athletes the first two motos split into groups before the top halves combine for the championship moto. Every athlete needs a transponder ($25), and registration, live timing and results run on Adrenaline.mx. Last season's entry fees were $55 for amateur and pro classes and $50 for pee wees, with a free rider pit pass on a paid entry and a $15 general pit pass; 2026-27 pricing had not been posted when this was written. Last season a $5 athlete pit pass was required at the Showdown.
