Open practice and MSC District 34 racing take over The Wick 338 in Southwick this weekend, July 25 and 26. AMA membership is required for racing. Saturday, July 25 is open practice. Sign-up is at 8am, practice runs 9am to 3pm, and it is $50 with no membership required. The practice order rotates each hour: 50cc on the hour, C riders at 12 past, Vets and Female at 24 past, 85cc and 65cc at 36 past, and A and B riders at 48 past. Sunday, July 26 is race day. AMA and MSC memberships are required and available on race day. Race sign-up runs 7am to 9am, at $40 for your first two classes and $20 for the third or more. AMA minor liability waivers must be signed by both parents in front of a track official or brought notarized. The front gate opens Friday 4pm to 10pm, Saturday 7am to 10pm, and Sunday at 6:30am. Admission is $20, and non-riders five and under are free. Classes with 12 or more riders earn trophies to eighth, except paying classes, and 85cc and smaller always pay to eighth. Paying classes are 250 A, Open A, 25+ A, 30+, and 40+ A. No pit riding on gas or electric, no open fires, and please do not leave behind tires or fuel and oil cans. MSC and ACE supply the registration, checking, and scoring staff.
