Moonlight MX Series Round 9

Round 9, Saturday, October 10, 2026. Lake Sugar Tree Motorsports Park in Axton, Virginia hosts the ninth round of the 2026 Piedmont Floor Show Moonlight MX Series, the points series it shares with Birch Creek Motorsports Park. The motocross shares the property with Round 12 of the Virginia Championship Hare Scramble Series, a two day VCHSS event on October 10 and 11, so expect a full pit and plan your arrival accordingly. Racing runs the two moto format with both motos counting, transponders are required for everyone but Stacyc riders, and riders must run seven of the ten scheduled rounds to qualify for year-end awards. Pre-registration opens Sunday, September 27 at 6 PM through Trackside Pre-Reg, and in-person sign-up costs $5 more per class. Sign-up and practice times, entry fees and gate admission had not been posted when this was written, so check the Lake Sugar Tree and Moonlight MX Series Facebook pages as race day gets closer.
