What to expect
Round 3 of the King of KC Series runs at Challenge Trax in Kingsville on Sunday, August 23.
Gates open at 7 AM, sign up from 8 AM, practice at 9:30 AM and racing from around 11 AM.
Race entry is $40 and the gate is $10.
Saturday practice runs 9 AM to 2 PM at $35 with free spectator entry, and camping is free across the weekend, so the usual plan is to practice Saturday, camp, and race Sunday.
The King of KC Mini Series runs five rounds in 2026 and every event counts. A rider must race 4 of the 5 rounds to qualify for series awards.
The track has deliberately run fewer races this season because it could not lock in a set schedule, and is keeping the property open for practice in between.
