Organized Practice Day

Three tracks, one practice day. Organized practice on three tracks in one day: the national track, the amateur supercross track, and the vintage track, which opens once the Texas heat breaks. Freestone only runs practice on scheduled dates between race weekends, and Sunday, February 28 is one of ten posted days for the 2026-27 season. New for 2027: the 9 to 13 mile cross country loop opens on practice weekends when the weather allows. The trails were race-only before this, and the track calls them awesome. Past organized practices ran 9 AM to 4 PM with online sign-up capped at the first 100 riders, free dry camping, and restrooms and showers open. Minors need a waiver signed by both parents, or a notarized document if they come with a guardian. Dates can shift with the weather, so confirm on freestonemx.com before you haul.
