What to expect
The DuQuoin State Fair Motocross Race runs at Indian Hills MX Park on the Du Quoin State Fairgrounds across two days, Saturday August 29 and Sunday August 30.
Both days follow the same schedule: sign up opens at 8 AM, practice starts at 10 AM and racing begins at 12 PM. This is a day race rather than a night programme.
Bikes and quads both race, and every class runs each day, so riders can enter one day or both.
Race entry is $30, or $50 for pro classes. Pit entry is $15 and children 3 and under are free. Enter through the MAIN GATE (Gate 1). Gate 1 parking is $15 per day and includes one free pit pass with each parking purchase.
The track is running a giveaway ahead of the weekend: four winners drawn at random, two for Saturday's race and two for Sunday's, each taking a free race entry and an Indian Hills MX t-shirt. Winners are announced on August 28 via the track's Facebook page.
Details can change.
Dates, times, fees and schedules come from the track's own posts and fliers and can change with weather, track conditions and other circumstances.
