What to expect
Sunday of Two Stroke Shootout weekend at Sleepy Hollow Motocross Park is a District 6 Henrietta Classic Series race, September 20.
Unlike Saturday's two stroke only card, Sunday is open to both two strokes and four strokes.
You need a valid AMA card to race, plus a valid District 6 card for Sunday specifically. Day passes can be purchased at the track. Sign ups run 7 to 9 AM, practice is at 9 AM and racing follows. The Sunday gate is $20 for racers and spectators 12 and up, $10 for ages 6 to 11, and free for 5 and under.
The facility is CASH ONLY. Gates open Thursday at 4 PM. Free dry camping runs Thursday through Sunday, though there are no bathhouses on site. Water for fill is available just inside the entrance on the right. Pit passes are $20 and you must be 16 or older to operate a pit vehicle: if it has a throttle, it counts as one. Transponders will be used: rental is $20 cash, with a credit card required for the deposit.
2026 AMA RULE, CHEST AND BACK PROTECTION. This is an AMA-sanctioned race, and from January 1 2026 chest and back protection is mandatory for competitors. It can go under or over the jersey, but it has to cover the sternum, the anterior ribs, the posterior ribs and the spine from T1 to T12. Riders without proper protection are NOT permitted on track, so check your gear before you travel.
