What to expect
Gates open at 9 AM for holeshot practice. Charles City Dirt Riders in Charles City, Virginia rides out Halloween on Saturday, October 31, 2026, with holeshot practice through the morning, the holeshot contest at 2 PM for trophies and bragging rights, and open riding until dark.
The party keeps going once the bikes cool off: a hayride and trunk or treat with candy for the kids at 6 PM, a costume contest, the bike sacrifice bonfire after dark, a ghost walk with Bobby Mason, and s'mores around the fire pit.
CCDR is a members club, but guests can ride on a day pass from the sign-in station outside the shop: $50 for a single rider, $100 for a family of one or two riders, or $150 for three or more. Parents must sign the minor waiver forms for every rider under 18, so bring them filled out or grab them at check-in.
