Halloween Finale: Season Finale Race and Under a Minute Shootout

Last race of the year, in costume, with a sub-minute shootout. Canaan Lions MX in Canaan, New Hampshire closes its 2026 season on Sunday, October 4 with the Halloween Finale: costumes and candy, the full Sunday class order, and the Open Class Under a Minute Shootout. Registration runs 7 to 9 AM, riders meeting 8:45, practice at 9 and racing at 10. Gate is $10 per person (under 4 free); entries are $35 for the first class, $30 for the second and $25 for each additional, with a $15 day pass or $65 season pass. A notary, memberships and all forms are available at the track. The shootout is not a pro or expert race. It is open to any A, B or C rider who ran a lap under a minute at Canaan in 2026, with a last chance qualifier early in the order for anyone who wants to race their way in. Two 15-lap motos, 100 percent payout to the top three, a second-moto holeshot award and eight free races for the overall winner. Twenty-five riders have already locked in gate picks, led by Jesse Bourque at 53.396; LCQ finishers fill the bottom of the gate. Ride a safe pace or expect the black flag, no shame. Saturday, October 3 is the Halloween Finale practice, 8:30 to 4; Sunday gate fees are collected Friday night or at Saturday sign-up, refundable if you leave by 4:30 Saturday.
