What to expect
Sand racing at the Southwick of Michigan. Bulldog M/C in Millington, Michigan hosts its AMA District 14 State Championship Series race day on Sunday, September 27, 2026, the club's last race of the season. Gates open Saturday, September 26 at 4 PM for camping at $10 per vehicle.
Bulldog runs a split program. The AM program starts at 9 AM with the 50cc, 65cc and 85cc classes, Open Mini, Girls and Women, and the 25+ through 60+ age classes on the mini and main tracks. The PM program starts no earlier than 1:30 PM with 125 B/C, 30+ and 40+ B/C, Vet Beginner, Non-Current, Schoolboy 1 and 2, 250 B and C, Open A through D, Open All Star and 2 Stroke Open 18+.
Race day sign-up is available online through the club's website, and you must have current AMA and District 14 cards. Entries are $40 per class on the main track with the transponder included and $30 per class on the mini track, where transponders are not used. Gate admission is $10 per person, with non-racing kids 8 and under free. Parking is very limited, so follow the parking attendant and park close to your neighbor.
