What to expect
One of the Northeast's premier motocross weekends returns to Diamondback Motocross at The Ranch at Carlisle, honoring John J. Coen, the founder of Diamondback and a lifelong builder of Northeast motocross. The 6th Annual John Coen Memorial runs a full AMA Pro-Am format with over $5,000 in the pro purse.
Saturday is open practice from 9am to 3pm at $40 per practice group, with nine groups covering everything from 50cc to Open A/B/Pro and riders welcome to enter multiple eligible groups; helmet stickers are issued at registration and must be displayed. Sunday is race day: fourteen youth classes from Micro-E through Supermini and Schoolboy, an advancement ladder from 125 Two-Stroke and the Novice classes up to 250 and Open Pro Sport, age classes from Plus 25 through Plus 60, and non-advancement classes including Women, Collegeboy, E-Bike Open, and Y2K.
The Pro Sport showcase runs on a published clock: 250 Pro Sport motos at 11am and 2pm, Open Pro Sport at noon and 3pm (times approximate, adjusted with event progress). Race entries run $40 per amateur class and $50 for each Pro Sport class, with multiple entries welcome. Weekend gate admission is $20 per person for ages 7 and up, and all riders pay gate admission.
