What to expect
Saturday of Round 1 of the 2026 Sand Surf Showdown Series at WHipp MX, Indiana's largest sand track. Saturday is practice only, with the racing on Sunday.
Gates open at 2 PM. Registration and check-in runs 2 PM to 10 PM, the riders meeting for general information and questions is at 3:45 PM, and practice runs 4 PM to 7 PM.
Getting registered on the Saturday is the easy way to do it. Sunday only has a short late registration window of 7 to 8 AM before the riders meeting.
Concessions and camping are available on site, so most people set up for the weekend.
The track has not published gate or entry fees for this round. Check whippmotocross.com or the Whipp Motocross Facebook page before you travel.
