What to expect
Last day to take the Fastest Lap title. Wheeler Spring MX in Bowdoin, Maine is open Sunday, September 20, 2026 from 10 AM to 3 PM, and the track says it is the final day to lay down a timed lap in its 2026 Fastest Lap contest.
Lap times are recorded on Sundays only, and you do not need to have attended the earlier Sundays to win. Show up on the last day, set the fastest lap in your class, and your name goes on a trophy displayed out front of the main office for major bragging rights. It is $50 to sign up, one class only. Classes are 50cc, 65cc, 85cc, Supermini, 125cc, 250cc, 450cc, Women, and E-Bike / Stark.
The contest flier lists September 13 as the end date. The track's latest post extends it to Sunday, September 20. The standard weekend practice rate is $40 per rider, and the post does not say whether the $50 contest sign-up includes practice, so ask at the gate. The track is also open Saturday, September 19 from 10 AM to 3 PM.
