MX Racing: Day & Night

Trojan MX runs two full race programs on Saturday, August 22, a day card and a night card. The day program practices at 10 AM. The night program practices at 5 PM with racing immediately after, so you can run one or both. Gates open Saturday at 8 AM and stay open until 10 PM or an hour after the last moto, whichever is later. Racing continues on Sunday, August 23 with practice at 10 AM. Gate admission is $8 per person per day and it is CASH ONLY. Gates open Friday 5 PM to 10 PM, Saturday 8 AM to 10 PM or an hour after the last moto, and Sunday from 8 AM. Friday is camping only with no events, and you have to buy a gate pass on the Friday for either Saturday or the full Saturday and Sunday. Entry is $35 per class in cash or $37 by card. Reads members pay $30 cash or $32 card. The Reads membership is a discount card, not a club and not required: $45 a year cash or $47 by card, saving $5 on every entry including organized practices, so it pays for itself at nine events. You need a RaceReady RFID transponder for all competition events. They are $10 cash at registration and last a year, and a valid transponder from another venue works fine. The catch is you MUST set up your own account at iraceready.com before you get to registration, because they will not create it for you and you will be standing outside the office doing it on your phone. Be registered by the advertised practice start time, not after it. The track is off State Road 13 at mile marker 99, about four miles north of US 30, south of North Webster and north of Pierceton.
