Thor Showdown Series Round 8: Fall Classic

Round 8 of the Thor Showdown Series, the Fall Classic, at Lincoln Trail Motosports in Casey, Illinois, September 19 and 20, with supplementary AMA District 17 points. Round 8 runs on the Classic Track, and pre-registration is live now at ridelincolntrail.com/race. Modified 2-day format: Saturday is an optional morning practice plus select classes racing a 2-moto format Saturday afternoon, while all other classes race their 2-moto format on Sunday. Most classes are capped at 40 riders, so pre-register online to guarantee your spot on the gate. An AMA card and a MyLaps transponder are required. Factory contingency from Cobra, GasGas, Honda, Husqvarna, Kawasaki, KTM, and Yamaha. Friday, September 18 (early arrival): Gates open 3pm to 11pm. Registration 6pm to 8pm. Saturday, September 19: Gates open 6am to 10pm. Registration 7am. Optional practice at 8am with 3 rotations, $30. Race registration 7am to 12pm. Riders meeting at 12:30pm over the PA and on 88.5 FM, group sight lap at 12:40pm, 85 Open sight lap at 12:50pm, opening ceremonies at 12:55pm and racing at 1pm. Saturday classes run a 2-moto format. Practice order: Open A/B, 85cc and Supermini, Open C, 65cc, Vet 30+, 125cc and Schoolboy, then 50cc. Saturday evening there is a church service at 6pm at the Pro Shop, then LTM's Got Talent at 6:30pm at the podium, a talent show with two age groups (12 and under, 13 and up). Sign up at the Pro Shop from 8am to 5pm. Sunday, September 20: Gates open 6am. Registration 7am to 8am. Riders meeting at 7:30am over the PA and on 88.5 FM. Practice at 8am, then racing in a 2-moto format. Good to know: every pre-registered rider still has to check in at registration, and anyone under 18 must be with a parent or legal guardian. There are no refunds after 8am on September 19. Wristbands must be worn at all times and are needed for re-entry. Keep your radio on 88.5 FM for announcements. Quiet time is 10pm nightly, though generators can run all the time, and reasonable campfires are allowed. Pets must be leashed. Water fill stations are in both pit areas, and race fuel and ice are sold at the Pro Shop, which is open 7am to 8pm. Live timing runs through LiveView Timing. Pre-registration opens September 9. All pit vehicles must be registered per the 2026 pit vehicle policy, with helmets worn at all times. More info and sign-up at ridelincolntrail.com. 2026 AMA RULE, CHEST AND BACK PROTECTION. This is an AMA-sanctioned race, and from January 1 2026 chest and back protection is mandatory for competitors. It can go under or over the jersey, but it has to cover the sternum, the anterior ribs, the posterior ribs and the spine from T1 to T12. Riders without proper protection are NOT permitted on track, so check your gear before you travel.
