What to expect.

Round 5 of the Thor Showdown Series Motocross Championship at Lincoln Trail Motosports in Casey, Illinois, July 11 and 12, on the Barnett-designed Bomber Pro track. This round also pays AMA District 17 bonus points. Modified 2-day format: Saturday is an optional morning practice plus select classes racing a 2-moto format Saturday afternoon, while all other classes race their 2-moto format on Sunday. Most classes are capped at 40 riders, so pre-register online (registration opens Wednesday, July 1 at 6pm central) to guarantee your spot on the gate, because certain classes fill up. An AMA card and a MyLaps transponder are required. Factory contingency from Cobra, GasGas, Honda, Husqvarna, Kawasaki, KTM, and Yamaha. Friday, July 10 (early arrival): Gates open 3pm to 11pm. Registration 6pm to 8pm. Saturday, July 11: Gates open 6am to 10pm. Practice registration 7am, practice 8am with 3 rotations. Race registration 7am to 12pm. Yamaha SXS demo 9am to 4pm. Rider's meeting 12:30pm (PA and 88.5 FM). Group site laps from 12:40pm, 85 Open site lap 12:50pm, opening ceremonies 12:55pm, racing at 1pm. Church service 6pm. Sunday, July 12: Gates open 6am. Registration 6am to 8am (closes at 8am). Rider's meeting 7:30am. Practice 8am with 1 rotation, then racing begins immediately after. A few rules: arrive together to park together (vehicles parked parallel, no circling the wagons), bag your trash for the dumpsters (bags available at the front gate and pro shop), and all pit vehicles must be registered per the 2026 pit vehicle policy, with helmets worn on motorcycles and ATVs at all times.
