What to expect

$2,600 added to the payout. The Sweet Home Alabama MX Series comes to Styx River MX & ATV Park in Robertsdale, Alabama with organized practice Saturday, September 19 from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM and race day Sunday, September 20, 2026, and sponsors have put up an extra $2,600 for the payback classes. Saturday practice is split into five groups: A/B, C/D, 85s and Superminis, 65s and advanced 50s, and kids beginner. Pre-registration runs Saturday from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM, and signing up early keeps Sunday morning moving. On Sunday the gates open at 6:30 AM, Faith Racers Ministry holds a service at 7:30 AM, and the riders meeting is at 8:00 AM. Practice follows, with racing right after. The Sunday practice order will be posted at registration. Gate fees: Saturday is $30 per rider or spectator and covers both Saturday and Sunday. Sunday only is $15 per rider or spectator. You need your wristband to register Sunday morning and to leave and re-enter the park, so do not lose it. Race entry is $35 for amateur classes and $45 for pro and payback classes, with kids 5 and under free. The American Heroes class is free to all first responders and service men and women. Riders need 5 races to qualify for series awards. The extra $2,600 is supplemental money on top of the regular payback percentages. 450 A/B All Star gets $500 ($225, $125, $75, $50, $25 for first through fifth). 250 A/B All Star gets $400 ($180, $100, $60, $40, $20). The 25+, 35+, 45+, 50+ and 55+ classes get $340 each ($150, $85, $55, $30, $20). The All Star classes run 100 percent payback and the plus classes run 50 percent payback. Parking and arrival: RVs, campers 20 feet and longer and other big rigs park in the bottom lot by the river, and the track recommends bringing a golf cart, ATV or side by side to get around. Trucks, small trailers and campers under 20 feet park in the upper areas, first come, first served until the space runs out. The track is closed Thursday and Friday, but racers can drop off trailers, campers and RVs those days. If you camp Friday night, the $30 Saturday gate fee is collected when you arrive. Gates close at 8:00 PM Friday and Saturday night, so call or message the track ahead of time if you will be later than that. See the parking map in the event photos. Maria's Tacos Plus and Trackside Teas are on site for food and drinks, with Ifly Drones shooting drone footage and Sure Visuals taking race photos. Series rules are at sweethomealabamamxseries.com.
