What to expect
Stadium Motocross returns to the Washington Town & Country Fair on Sunday, August 9: an AMA-sanctioned, non-points race night with a $14,500 pro purse and $3,500 in amateur prizes. The day runs gates at 9 AM, sign-ups 9 to noon, practice at 12, prelims at 2, and mains under the stadium atmosphere at 6 PM. Racing uses a three-moto Triple Crown format with $4,300 paid per moto ($850 to win, ten deep) plus a $1,600 overall payout, and amateur podiums earn gift cards with every amateur entry drawing a chance at pro-autographed prizes. Classes run 50cc through 85cc age groups, Youth and Motorcycle Beginner, Supermini, Big Bike Open, 250B/250C, and Open A/B/C. Entries are $30 amateur and $50 expert, paid day of race; gate admission (fairground entry included) is $15 for adults, $10 for kids 6 to 12, and free for racers.
