What to expect
Round 2 of six, Sunday October 4, 2026. Soggy Bottom Motorsports Park in Sparta, Missouri hosts the Midwest Motocross Challenge, a six-race fall series on the Ozarks track south of Springfield. Race-day practice starts at 9 AM and the first gate drops at 11. Entry is $30 per amateur class and $40 pro, the Sunday gate is $10 for ages 7 and up, and primitive camping is free.
Saturday October 3 is prep practice, $20 at the gate for ages 7 and up, and the track closes at 3 PM for final race prep. Classes run from PeeWee up, and riders must race four of the six rounds to qualify for series awards. The series dates are September 20, October 4, 18 and 25, and November 8 and 22, after an August 30 warm-up race.
