What to expect

Double points in Malakoff. Rafter S MX in Malakoff, Texas hosts Round 4 of the Central region of the 16th annual AMA Texas State Championship Series on October 10 and 11, 2026, with double points on both days. Gates open Friday 5 to 10 PM for camper check-in. Saturday, October 10: gates at 6 AM, on-site registration at 6:30, AMA-sanctioned practice 8 AM to noon, riders meeting at the score tower at noon and racing immediately after. Saturday classes are the micro, 65cc, 85cc, beginner, girls and vet women classes: Micro 1 50cc shaft drive, Micro 50cc Open 4 to 8, 65cc 7 to 11 Open and Beginner, 85cc 10 to 14 Open, 85cc 9 to 13 Beginner (small wheel), Girls 11 to 16, 122cc-plus Beginner and Vet Women 25+. Gate is $30 per person for the weekend ($15 Sunday only), race entry $50 per class or $60 for pro, practice $30 per racer, dry camping $25 and RV hookups $65 per night. Weekend rules from the track: absolutely no pit bikes (kids were caught on the SX track at night at the last event), RV hookups are first come, first served and calling will not hold one, this is an AMA event so all AMA rules apply, and vendor spots are available by reaching out ahead. Pre-registration goes live Monday, October 5 at 3 PM through the link in the Rafter S Instagram bio and Facebook page. Call before you haul: 903-505-2966. The track is at 10900 CR 1206, Malakoff, Texas 75148. Sunday runs the big-bike, youth and vet classes.
