Under the Lights Series Finale: Night Race #10 (Hawaiian Theme)

Morelands Motocross closes out with Race #10 on Saturday, August 22, and it's Hawaiian Theme Night: bring the aloha to the gate alongside the full normal class card plus pit bike racing. Open practice runs 10 AM to 2 PM (additional $30) before night racing begins at 4 PM sharp. Race fee is $35 with $5 paid online, and a $10 RFID transponder is required. Alongside the normal class card, three pit bike classes race: Pit Bike Stock (12 and up, 110cc 4-stroke or smaller, max 12 inch rear wheel), Pit Bike Modified (12 and up, 4-stroke, max 12 inch rear wheel), and Pit Bike Youth (ages 4 to 11, 4-stroke, max 12 inch rear wheel). SATURDAY SCHEDULE: gates open 9:30 AM, open practice 10 AM to 2 PM, check-in from 2 PM, riders meeting 3:30 PM, race practice 4 PM, and racing immediately after practice, roughly 5 PM. Apex Motoworks is on site broadcasting the finale LIVE, running a holeshot cam, drone cam, replay cam and track cam through the night. There is $50 cash on the line for the Moto 1 holeshot, put up by local businesses, families and supporters. It is Hawaiian night, so bring the shirts, leis and grass skirts. The costume contest is posted on the track's Facebook on Saturday: put your photo in the comments and the entry with the most likes takes $100. E-Bike riders get a bonus. Open E-Bike and E-Bike Limited both race, and every e-bike race entry is one chance at a Mystery E-Moto from NCW Electric Powersports. NO PIT VEHICLES ON RACE DAY. No pit bikes, quads, golf carts, side-by-sides or scooters anywhere in the pits, feet only, and the mini track is closed on race days. Required riding gear: a DOT-approved helmet, goggles, a long-sleeve shirt and long trousers, and moto boots or boots that support the ankle.
