The Muskrat Run Weekend rolls into Dutch Sport Park in Bloomingdale, October 10 and 11. Sunday's Muskrat Run runs the motocross track with extended loops out into the woods, a fun twist on the usual layout. Gates open Friday at 6pm. Saturday and Sunday both open at 7am, with sign-up from 7am and practice Sunday at 9am. Gate admission is $35 Friday, $30 Saturday, and $20 Sunday, with kids under 11 who are not racing free. Race entry is $45 per class. AMA membership is required ($49 full year, $35 youth, or $30 for a one-event pass), and Michigan residents also need a $15 District 14 card. Saturday night brings the Halloween fun: trick or treat at 5pm, Pumpkin Chunkin at 6pm (ages 16 and under, free entry, with handmade trophies for the top three in each age group), and a chili cook-off to follow, with Dutch supplying the chili, water, crackers, cheese, and everything you need.
