What to expect
Vets race after hours. The AZ Vet MX Triple Crown club race runs on the Motoland Vet Track at Motoland MX Park in Casa Grande, Arizona on Sunday, October 18, 2026, from noon to 3 PM on a freshly groomed track after morning open practice. The main classes are for riders 30 and older who are current AZ Vet MX members.
Younger riders get in too through the Big Bike Open support classes, open to non-members ages 29 and under on 125cc and up, with proof of age required. Support classes run Beginner, Novice and Intermediate, three motos of five laps each, and gate plus race fees total $75.
Practice ends at noon, track prep wraps at 12:30 and the riders meeting is at 12:40, followed by practice or sight laps and then the gate drops. It is also a Halloween costume contest: AZ Vet members race for a cash prize for the best costume, which has to be worn in the first moto, and support class riders are encouraged to dress up as well, though there are no prizes for the support classes.
