What to expect
The Moto Megabowl Grand Prix runs at The Oak Motocross Park in Coalport on Sunday, August 23. Gates open at 8 AM.
The course combines all three surfaces on the property: the woods, the MX track and the grass track. Motos are 45 minutes plus one lap, with 50cc classes running 30 minutes on a shortened course.
Pre-registration is open now, with the link on the homepage at theoakmxpark.com. Note that pre-registering does not finish the job: pre-registered riders must still CHECK IN at the sign-up building to collect a race sticker and sign the waiver.
Camping is FREE on Friday and Saturday night. Gates open at 4 PM on both Friday and Saturday and stay open until 9 PM, so you can come in Friday, camp the weekend, get MX laps in Saturday and race the Grand Prix on Sunday.
The woods were deliberately kept closed during Saturday's practice so the trails are fresh for this.
Details can change.
Dates, times, fees and schedules come from the track's own posts and fliers and can change with weather, track conditions and other circumstances.
