The Elk City motocross community comes together Saturday, August 8 to celebrate the life, riding passion, and memory of Brock Gowdy, and to give his family the send-off he deserves. Gates open at 8 AM with entry by donation only for riders and spectators alike. The day runs open practice 8 to 11, a kids-only hour from 11 to noon, open practice again 12 to 2, and at 2:20 every rider lines up, all ages together, for dedicated memorial laps to Brock. A 50/50 raffle runs at $5 a ticket, and every dollar from admission, concessions, and donations goes directly to supporting Brock's wife, children, and family.
