Heartland MX Championship Series Round 5

Saturday practice is open to the public. Round 5 of the Heartland MX Championship Series lands at Euro Raceway in Nashville, Illinois, on September 19 and 20, backed by Kawasaki, KTM, GasGas and Husqvarna contingencies, with series giveaways at every event and holeshot awards in the second motos. The weekend opens on the Friday: gates open at 3 PM for camping and move-in, and the gates stay open every night. Saturday gates open at 8 AM, practice runs 9 AM to 2 PM and is open to anyone, not just series racers, and early registration runs 1 PM to 3 PM. Sunday gates open at 7 AM with registration from 7 AM, race practice at 8:30 AM, and racing to follow. Concessions run both days and camping is available on site. Practice is $40 per class, or $20 for P Dubs and 50 Beginners. Race entry is $45 per class, $30 for P Dubs and 50 Beginners, and $20 for STACYC riders, who run one moto at intermission. Gate wristbands cover the whole stay: $20 Friday through Sunday, $15 Saturday and Sunday, $10 Sunday only, and 4 and under are free. The money is worth turning up for. The 250 and 450 Expert classes pay 100 percent back plus $300 to the top three finishers, and the +25 and +30 classes pay five deep: $100, $75, $60, $50 and $40. The class ladder covers everything from 50 Beginner and P Dub through 65s, 85s and supermini, 125 two-stroke, Big Bike Open, Schoolboy, Girls up to 12, Women 13 and up, full 250 and 450 beginner to expert divisions, and vet classes from +25 to +60.
