What to expect
Round 5 of the Heartland MX Championship Series lands at Euro Raceway in Nashville, Illinois on September 19 and 20, backed by Kawasaki, KTM, GasGas, and Husqvarna contingencies, with expert payouts in 250, 450, Plus 25, and Plus 30, holeshot awards in the second motos, and series giveaways at the event. Gates open Friday at 3 PM for move-in and camping ($15 per night), Saturday at 8 AM, and Sunday at 7 AM, closing each night at 10. Wristbands run $20 Friday through Sunday, $15 Saturday through Sunday, or $10 Sunday only, with kids 4 and under free. Saturday runs practice from 9 to 2 ($40 per session, $20 for P Dubs and 50 beginners) with early registration 1 to 3 PM; Sunday registration opens at 7, practice at 8:30, and racing follows. Entries are $45 per class ($30 for P Dubs and 50 beginners, $20 Stacycs, who run one moto at intermission). The class list covers the whole gate: Stacycs, the full 50/65/85 ladder from beginner through open and supermini, 125 two-stroke, Big Bike open, Schoolboy, Girls 12 and under, Women 13 plus, 250 and 450 from beginner to expert, and the plus classes from 25 through 60. Concessions run both days.
