Gold Cup Series 2027 Round 1: Season Opener Weekend

The 2027 season starts in October. Berm Benders Raceway in Brook Park, Minnesota kicks off its 2027 racing season with Round 1 of the Gold Cup Series on October 3 and 4, 2026. Saturday, October 3 is motocross practice, and the track is inviting first-timers who have been wanting to learn to ride to come give it a try. Sunday, October 4 is race day: site laps start at 8 AM with racing to follow, weather permitting, so come race, cheer or just watch. Race weekends at Berm Benders run Friday gates 4 to 10 PM, Saturday practice 9 to 3 at $35 per class, and Sunday gates at 6:30 AM. Sunday entry is $40 for the first two classes, $30 for the third and the fourth free, weekend admission is $15 per person ages 4 and up, camping is $20 Friday to Sunday and parking $5 per vehicle, cash prices with 5 percent added for cards. AMA District 23 sanctioned. The track is at 2393 Sherwood St in Brook Park, off I-35 north of Hinckley. Make a Halloween weekend of it: camping is $20 for the whole weekend with gates open Friday at 4 PM, and across Hwy 23 from the track The Ringlers House on Haunted Hill runs its haunted trail October 3 and 4 (scary scenes, fun for all ages, and not at the raceway itself).
