Durhamtown MX Series Race Day

Cash only, and do not be late. The Durhamtown MX Series races on Saturday, September 26, 2026, Round 1 of the four round 2026-27 Youth MX Series (the next rounds are October 31, November 21 and December 19), at Durhamtown in Union Point, Georgia, an AMA sanctioned day of motocross and ATV racing with youth classes, ATV classes, adult pit bike and Stacyc. It runs even if it rains. Race day registration is 6:30 AM to 8:30 AM sharp, with no late entries. The riders meeting is at 9 AM, and practice and racing follow. Classes are $35 each and Stacyc is $20. Online pre-registration is open, but it does not replace check-in. You still have to stop at the Registration and Trophy booth, on race day or at Friday practice, to pay in cash and pick up your racer's arm band. No band means you do not race. Everything on site is cash only, and bring your AMA number with you, because there is no internet at the track to look it up. AMA membership is required to race. Stop at the Durhamtown table at the parking lot entrance first for your gate band, $15 cash per person for ages 4 and up. Friday, September 25, the track opens at 9 AM for open-day practice on fresh dirt, then the official race practice runs 6 PM to 8 PM. You need a Durhamtown ride band for the night session, $15 at the lodge, unless you already have a Friday day ride band. Race entry fees are paid at the track, either Friday at practice or Saturday morning between 6:30 and 8:30 sharp. No payment, no racing. Check your AMA membership before you leave home. Every racer needs an active membership, and the track warns not to find out on race morning that yours has expired. If you did not pre-register, have your AMA number ready at registration. No joy riding in the pits. It is idle speed only to the gate and back, and that goes for racers, siblings and parents, with penalties for violations.
