Carolina MX Fall Series Round 3: Custom Flying Discs Round (Rescheduled)

Rescheduled to Saturday, September 26. Round 3 of the 2026 Carolina MX Fall Series at East Bend Motorsports in East Bend, NC, the Custom Flying Discs Round, was moved from September 12 to Saturday, September 26, 2026, and the track says the weather is looking great. It is two rounds in with six to go, and you can still qualify for series awards by racing 6 of the 8 rounds. Anyone is welcome to come out for a single race, too. Custom East Bend flying discs go to the top 3 in every class, and red trophies are on tap this week, on top of the regular race day awards. Early gates open from 12 to 1 PM for riders who want their favorite pit spot, then regular gates at 1:00 PM, practice at 3:30 PM and racing at 4:45 PM. Sign-up opens at 2 PM: the left window is check-in for pre-registered riders, the right window is day-of sign-up. Online registration stays open until 7 PM Friday, saves time and money, and gets you a better gate pick in the first set of motos. Friday night camping is $20, camping after the race is free, and the track runs open practice Sunday from noon to 5 PM if you want to stay and ride. Note the series runs two different timetables: the earlier rounds start in the afternoon, and from October 17 the whole day moves earlier as the light goes. AWARDS EVERY RACE. Trophies, plaques or awards are guaranteed 10 deep in every class, and every 50cc and 65cc rider gets an award. 250A and 450A pay 100 percent of entry fee, as do 25+A, 30+A and 40+A. THE SERIES PRIZE IS THE REAL ONE. Win your class championship and you race the entire 2027 Spring Series FREE, at every round. Class champs also get a number 1 plate and a jacket, series trophies go to everyone who qualifies, and there is over $60,000 in total prizes across the series. You must race 6 of the 8 rounds to be eligible, and only your best 7 count, so running all 8 gives you a throw-away. ENTRY. $30 if you register online, $35 at the track. A $17.76 membership is required and has to be filled out online. Online registration closes at 7 PM the Friday before the race, and pre-registering speeds up sign up because both windows are used on race day for riders who booked ahead. First moto gate pick is now based on the order of sign up. Gate admission is $15 per person, free for 4 and under. The series banquet is at the Village Inn in Clemmons, NC, date to be announced.
