The Return to the National Track: First Race Back

Hallowed ground, first gate drop. Broome-Tioga Sports Center in Richford, New York, the track that hosted 28 AMA Pro Motocross Nationals, announces its first race back on the National Track since the resurrection project began: Sunday, October 18, 2026. The crew is making it a full weekend. Gates open Friday, October 16 at 5 PM with no camping fee, Saturday, October 17 is open practice from 10 AM to 3 PM, and Sunday sign-up opens at 7 AM with practice at 8:30 and racing immediately after. Pros, take note: a $3,000 pro purse on top of 110 percent payback, paid out by each moto and split among the top five with a $100 step between positions. It runs as a CNYMRA (Central New York Motorcycle Riders Association) district race. Admission is $20 for adults with non-racing kids 10 and under free, Saturday practice is $30, and race entry is $35 for the first class, $30 for the second and $25 for the third, with peewee classes $25 each. Friday gates run 5 to 11 PM, Saturday 7 AM to 11 PM with the practice bike rotation 10 to 3 and 2 to 5, and Sunday gates open at 6:30 with sign-up 7 to 9 and the riders meeting and race-day practice at 8:30.
