The Virginia AMA State Championship wraps at Birch Creek MX on Sunday, August 16 with MX racing from 8 AM, crowning state champions from the 50cc classes up through amateur and pro. Gate admission runs Friday $35 adult / $20 child, Saturday $30 / $15, Sunday $20 / $10, with 3 and under free; practice stickers are $40, pit vehicle passes $30 (approved units only), and race entry is $35 for all 50cc classes, $40 amateur, $50 pro. Transponders are required for all racers (rentals from Time and Score), camping is always welcome, and gates run 24 hours all weekend. Saturday ran practice plus supercross under the lights.
