What to expect
The 2nd Annual Pumpkin Run pit bike and e-moto race comes to Balance Rock Mini Moto in Helper, Utah on Saturday, November 7, starting at 10 AM, presented with HDMX (High Desert Motocross). Every pit bike, playbike and e-moto class runs a two moto format, with payouts and prizes across multiple classes. New e-moto classes were added for this race, but full size motos like the Stark Varg are not allowed.
The pumpkin race runs during intermission, with two rounds and a cash prize, so bring a buddy. It is two riders, one bike and one pumpkin at $15 per team. One rider holds the bike on the gate while the other runs to the first turn, grabs a pumpkin and runs it back, and your two laps start once both riders and the pumpkin are on the bike.
Entry is $25 per class and $20 for each additional class, $20 for youth and Stacyc, with a $5 entry wristband for everyone. Registration is linked from the track's Facebook and Instagram pages. The track is at 378 N Main St in Helper.
