MX and SX Practice: Season Opener Weekend

Soft dirt and a new SX track. Arizona Cycle Park in Buckeye, Arizona opens the fall riding season with MX practice on Saturday, October 3, 2026 from 7 AM to noon. The week of rain left the MX tracks soft and ready, split practice runs on the Front/Vet track both days, and sections 7 and 8 of the National Track open this weekend. The Supercross track is shaping up too: split SX practice 7 to noon on the whoops with big bikes and little bikes in separate sessions, no beginners, and paying for SX practice covers every track. MX practice is $40 cash or $45 card, peewee practice on the Minicross track $20 or $25, and SX practice $60 cash or $65 card at the gate. The AM-OPEN of Supercross follows on October 17 and 18 (big bikes) and October 24 and 25 (little bikes); sign up at amopensx.com. Bikes only, full gear required, remove kickstands. Fall racing follows with the SMX Saturday series, the AM-OPEN of Supercross and the Cactus State MX Championship.
