Open to the Public Practice

No membership needed, all three tracks open. Area 51 Motorcross in Batavia, New York is holding a five hour open to the public practice on Saturday, September 26, 2026, from 10:30 AM to 3:30 PM, weather permitting. Gates open at 9 AM. The track says this may be its last public practice of 2026. It is bikes only, except youth quads on the Dunlop track, and the fee is $45 on any track. The main track runs rotations for beginner, novice, amateur and expert, and 65cc and 85cc minis. The vet track is for plus 30 beginner and novice riders, new riders and adult pit bikes. The Dunlop track is for 51cc bikes, youth playbikes and youth quads. If the weather turns, the practice may move to Sunday, September 27 if staff is available, so watch the track's Facebook page for updates before you haul. Minors need the two parent waiver, which the track says will be available online. The track will also be taking early sign-ups for 2027 seasonal memberships at the practice. Joining early lets you ride member days through November 1, with extra days scheduled after that as track conditions and weather allow. The typical season runs April 1 through November 1.
