AMA New Hampshire State Championship

Moved up one day to Saturday, September 19. The 2026 AMA New Hampshire State Championship at Winchester Speedpark was set for Sunday, September 20, but with heavy rain forecast for Saturday night and all day Sunday, the track pulled the race forward and cancelled the Saturday open practice to make room. It is a two moto format with an early start: practice rolls at 8 AM Saturday and racing follows right after. Gates open Friday, September 18 from 12 PM to 10 PM so you can get settled for the weekend, then again at 6 AM Saturday. Do not arrive before noon on Friday. There is no gate staff until then, and you cannot park on Route 10 because it is a state highway. Sign-up and pre-registration check-in run Friday 1 PM to 8 PM and Saturday 6:30 AM to 8 AM. Online pre-registration is now closed, but it was never required: just sign up at the track. Entry is $45 per class and the gate is $20 for adults and racers, with non-racers 4 and under free. Transponder rental is $10 per day with $400 cash or a credit card held as collateral. AMA membership is required, and memberships are available at the track during sign-up. Winchester pays all A classes: 250A and 450A pay 100 percent, and 30A, 40A and Open A pay 50 percent. Top 5 plaques go to every class. New for this year is an 85 9-13 class, and the Girls 9-13 class allows both wheel sizes. Minors: every minor needs a minor waiver signed by one parent and the rider. Forms are handed out at the gate, so bring yours to sign-up, or show your 2026 waiver card at the gate and at sign-up if you already have one. Without a 2026 card, the minor release has to be signed by a parent and the minor and notarized before you come to the track. The waivers are not on the track website, so contact the track ahead of time for help. A minor racing without a parent present needs a notarized guardianship form appointing a guardian, completed before arrival. Race order is subject to change on race day. Supplemental rule: Mini-E Jr Limited 4-6 allows a 28 inch maximum seat height.
