What to expect
Monster Mountain closes its 2026 season December 11 through 13 with the AMA Alabama State Championship, three days of title racing on one of the Southeast's premier facilities.
2026 AMA RULE, CHEST AND BACK PROTECTION. This is an AMA-sanctioned race, and from January 1 2026 chest and back protection is mandatory for competitors. It can go under or over the jersey, but it has to cover the sternum, the anterior ribs, the posterior ribs and the spine from T1 to T12. Riders without proper protection are NOT permitted on track, so check your gear before you travel.
