DESCRIPTION:The Elk City motocross community comes together Saturday\, August 8 to celebrate the life\, riding passion\, and memory of Brock Gowdy\, and to give his family the send-off he deserves. Gates open at 8 AM with entry by donation only for riders and spectators alike. The day runs open practice 8 to 11\, a kids-only hour from 11 to noon\, open practice again 12 to 2\, and at 2:20 every rider lines up\, all ages together\, for dedicated memorial laps to Brock. A 50/50 raffle runs at $5 a ticket\, and every dollar from admission\, concessions\, and donations goes directly to supporting Brock's wife\, children\, and family.
