DESCRIPTION:Round 1 of the 2026 AMA Texas State Championship Series (North region) runs August 15-16 at Bowers MX in Amarillo\, Texas. The Texas State Championship reaches its 16th year in 2026 and its first as an AMA Featured Series\, awarding points on a per moto basis toward the Texas #1 plate. Saturday practice runs 8 AM to noon\, then racing fills the weekend across classes from 50cc micro up to 450cc Pro\, plus 65cc\, 85cc\, Supermini\, Schoolboy\, Women's\, College and the full Vet 25+ through 50+ lineup. Points stay within the North region\, so riders chase the title round by round.
