DESCRIPTION:Duel @ Sunset is a two-day motocross showdown at Sunset Ridge MX in Walnut\, running July 17 to 19. Saturday and Sunday are separate race days that each pay District 17 and Sunset Stampede Series points (rounds 2 and 3 of the new series)\, and the combined Saturday-plus-Sunday points crown a Duel Champion in every class. You do not have to race both days\, but you need both to chase the title.

Friday is optional practice from 10am to 4pm at $40 per class\, with race sign-up running 1pm to 5pm. Saturday and Sunday racing runs on the AMA and District 17 program: sign-up 6:30 to 9am\, riders meeting at 8:30\, and racing right after. Online race entry is $40 per class ($45 for A classes)\, a bit more at the gate. Gates open Thursday afternoon for the weekend\, camping is $20 per vehicle\, and weekend gate passes run $35 to $40 per person. Special western-themed activities run both Friday and Saturday nights\, so get your western on.
