DESCRIPTION:Round 2 of the AMA Texas State Championship Series Central region runs August 22 and 23 at Swan MX in Tyler. AMA membership is required to practice or race. Gates open Friday evening 5 to 10 PM for early arrivals (gates lock nightly)\, then Saturday runs rider check-in from 6:30 AM to 4 PM with organized practice 8 AM to noon and Saturday races to follow. Sunday gates and check-in open at 6:30 AM\, warm up laps at 8\, a mandatory riders meeting after practice\, then racing. Fees: $15 gate pass per person per day or $30 for a weekend pass (under 5 free\; pay full price at the gate with a refund after racing Saturday if you are not returning)\, $25 per night dry camping or trailer drop\, $30 organized practice per rider\, $50 amateur and $60 pro entries\, and $20 pit vehicle passes. Pros race for a 200% payout. Wristbands must be worn at all times.
