Freestone County Raceway, L.L.C., established 2000. Freestone host/promote several amateur events/series each year. Freestone is also the host of the AMA Motocross Championship. Amateur series include: AMA Texas Winter Series North Texas Night Series South Texas Night Series AMA Pro event is Labor Day weekend and serves as Round 11 of the AMA Toyota Motocross Championship.
Directions: From Dallas: Exit #213 (FM 246), go south 6 miles and follow MX signs. From Houston: Exit #198 (Hwy 27), go west 16 miles to CR 995. Turn Right and go 2 miles. From San Antonio/Austin/Waco: Take Hwy 84 (east) to Mexia. Turn left on Hwy 14 (north) to Wortham. Turn right (east) on Hwy 27 for 2 miles. Turn left (north) on FM 246 2.5 miles to CR 995. Turn right and follow MX signs.
